A fantastic cottage in a great location which has something for everyone. This is our second visit to Hylands and I'm sure we'll be back again - it ticks all our boxes.

Great location and really peacefull, the cottage was perfect for myself my son and my parents. Wide selection of games, books, dvd's and videos and great information of the surrounding area. Would go back here in a minute and could have stayed for 2 weeks easily. Was a great last minute holiday and have no complaints.

This was our second wonderful holiday at "Hylands Cottage" and we were very impressed with the improvements made by the caring owners. Despite the weathers best efforts to spoil our fun we saw Dolphins at Chanonry Point, Golden Eagles, Red Squirrels and Red Deer that were just 100 metres from the cottage. We enjoyed numerous walks around the many beautiful places in the Cairngorms National Park. Highly recommend is the food in the Cairngorm Hotel in Aviemore. We have already booked to return in 2011 and can't wait!

Excellent Cottage. I highly recommend "Hylands Cottage" This was our second visit and we plan to return again. The area is amazing with so much to do and see. Aviemore has all you need for a great holiday.

We all thought the cottage was excellent and in a very clean and tidy condition, one of the cleanest places we have stayed in on holiday. Daughter loved the selection of DVD’s they had. The views from the back garden were magnificent over looking the mountains. An easy walk in to Aviemore and made good use of the golf-club facilities, the owner was most helpful even though they were right down south. We will definitely try to book the cottage again. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

An excellent location for exploring the area. The cottage is above average in all ways. Best collection of games, books and DVD/video at any cottage I've been to. The free membership of the country club is a great bonus when the weather lets you down.

The cottage was absolutely perfect, the setting was unbelievable, the views from the garden were great and the cottage had everything we needed. There are many places to eat out and the facilities at the country club were great - this really is a 5 star cottage!

The location of the cottage is ideal, a good central point for travelling further up north. You have everything you need in the cottage, even good selection of games and DVD's. The country club is a must if you have children, also good for children is the Landmark theme park.
